The Absolute basic facts about the Living God

There is one true God. Note I did not say only one God, I said one true God. God is not dead. I have found him working in my life. Which means it is impossible for God not to exist in the here and now. Also the fulfilled biblical prophesies pose a bit of a problem to that logic. God is a god of love. He gave his son to die for you. Jesus Christ died for you. The Bible is the Word of God. Parts of the Bible are intended to be taken figuratively, or proverbially, such as the parables. Much of it is literally history, and another part of it is made up of prophesies. Most of these have been fulfilled. There are the four Gospels, which are the accounts of Jesus's life and ministry. There is also part that takes place during the time of the very early church.

God has allways shown mercy to people. He has never let me down, or left in a tight spot. (If you know some of the things I did to God in return, you would be amazed that God has really done that.) He is a God of truth, and goodness. God was not created in our image, but us in his. (We did not make God, God made us.) God is holier than us, and in his judgment is justified. He is ultimately the judge, and has the authority to do so. He has and always has had the authority to make all of the moral laws.

For those of you who are looking for proof of God's existence I first want proof of something very simple. Something that we all agree on. Prove that one plus one is two. Try it, contact me if you ever succeed. I never have, (and have tried very hard) nor have I ever seen anyone else do it. Likewise it is not possible to prove anything else. Anything that could be used as a given, can be challenged, and must itself be proven. (Thus, even if you have unlimited time, you will, at best, end up with a circular argument.) However, this is not to say that there is no evidence that God exists. If one examines the biblical prophesy critically, one will find incredibly strong evidence that God exists. I thought I had a good site to link to on the subject, but the author never responded to any e-mail I sent him. (And would therefore be removed from any questions or responsibility for what he says.) I hope to find one Soon.

I now will send you to the page on Jesus Christ's Salvation If I could only have one page, this is the one I would leave, and delete all others. Please visit the Page on the Salvation of Jesus Christ
